Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who decided to build their own houses. They wanted to live happily and safely in the big forest.
The first little pig was very lazy. He built his house with straw because it was quick and easy. "This is good enough," he thought. But deep down, he knew it wasn't strong enough to keep him safe from danger.
The second little pig worked a bit harder than the first one. He chose sticks to build his house. It took more effort, but still, it didn't seem like enough protection against wolves or other wild animals.
The third little pig was the smartest of all. He worked very hard day after day until his brick house stood tall and strong. This house would stand up against anything that tried to harm him.
One day, while they were playing outside their homes, along came a big bad wolf. The wolf knocked on the door of the first little pig's straw house. "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" shouted the wolf.
"No way!" replied the little pig nervously. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house down easily. Poor little pig had to run quickly to his brother’s stick house.
The wolf followed them and knocked on the door of the stick house next. Again, he demanded to be let inside. The two little pigs trembled as they heard the wolf breathing heavily before blowing the house down too. Both pigs hurried off to join their clever brother at his sturdy brick house.
When the wolf reached the brick house, he tried again and again to blow it down, but no matter how hard he huffed and puffed, the house remained standing firm. Exhausted, the wolf finally gave up and ran away into the woods.
From then on, the three little pigs lived peacefully in their brick house, knowing they had done everything possible to protect themselves from harm. And so, they learned an important lesson: hard work and wise choices can save you from trouble in the future.
