In the sixth grade, we are learning more and more about English. Writing is one of the most important skills we need to improve. Today, I want to share a short essay that I wrote for my English class.

My favorite subject is English. I think it is very interesting because I can learn new words and talk with people from different countries. Every day, I read English books and listen to English songs. Sometimes, I even watch English movies with subtitles. This helps me understand the language better.

In our English class, we often write short essays. One of the topics was “My Ideal School.” I wrote about a school where students can learn in a fun and comfortable environment. There are many libraries, computers, and sports facilities. Teachers are kind and always help us when we have problems. I believe that a good school should not only teach knowledge but also make students happy and confident.

I also like to write stories. Last week, I wrote a story about a little boy who wanted to become a pilot. He worked hard every day and finally achieved his dream. I think this story shows that if you work hard and never give up, you can reach your goals.

Writing in English is not easy, but I enjoy it. I hope I can improve more and write longer and better essays in the future. I will keep practicing every day.
