In a faraway land, where the sky is blue and the clouds are soft, there lives a giant named Sophie.

Scene 3: The Dream Machine

BFG:
This is my dream machine. It helps me catch dreams from the sky. I put them in jars and deliver them to sleeping children.
Sophie:
That’s amazing! How do you know which dreams to give?
BFG:
I listen to the dreams. They tell me what kind of child needs them.

There are other giants, but they are not like me. They eat humans. They are very dangerous.

Why don’t you stop them?

Because I am small. I can’t fight them. But I can help you.
