Today is the first day of my winter vacation. I feel very excited because I don’t have to go to school anymore. After a long and busy term, it’s nice to have some free time.

In the morning, I got up early and had breakfast with my family. My mom cooked noodles and eggs. It was delicious. Then I spent some time doing my homework. I finished all the math problems and read a few pages of English books. I think it’s important to keep studying even during the holiday.

After lunch, I went out with my friend Lily. We went to the park and played basketball for a while. It was fun, and we laughed a lot. I also bought some snacks from a small shop near the park. We sat on the bench and talked about our plans for the winter break.

In the evening, I watched a movie at home. It was an English film called The Little Prince. I didn’t understand everything, but I tried to guess the meaning from the context. I think this is a good way to improve my English listening skills.

Before going to bed, I wrote this diary entry in English. I want to practice writing every day. I hope that by the end of the vacation, I can write more clearly and use more new words.

I think this day was very relaxing and enjoyable. I’m looking forward to the next days of my winter break.
